Daniel Austin Lopez (b.1991, TX) is a New York-based artist with a focus on sexuality and masculinity in his works. Lopez received his MFA in sculpture from the New York Academy of Art in 2016. In 2018 Lopez began making sculptures digitally and 3d printing them. Since 2020 Lopez has made iPad drawings and prints of his drawings. The male nude is the main subject in Lopez's sculptures and drawings. With the male nude, Lopez has faced censorship on social media, he now puts his uncensored works and drawings he cannot post on social media on his site.
